What We’re About

Shoot the Curl is a student publication that tells digital stories about local surfing communities.

We’ll be posting footage of surfers shredding waves, but we’ll also be discussing the environment, technology, gentrification, business, tourism and many other issues that affect the local surf community.

Shoot the Curl is the product of a USC Annenberg class of the same name, taught by Keith Plocek. The stories are written and produced by USC students. The possibilities are endless.
